A wellbeing and human skills speaker who creates space for reflection and learning

I inspire teams to prioritise human skills and emotional intelligence

Positive mind health habits matter

More than 1 in 7 people experience mind health problems at work, affecting their performance. Many others struggle in silence.

Workplace cultures should be a force for good, creating conditions for purposeful people to build better habits that drive brilliant performance.

But we don’t live in a perfect world:

Individuals struggle to build better habits

Workplaces become sources of unmanageable stress
People are left exhausted and unwell

Sometimes, all you need is time and space to stop and think. Some inspiration to change today for a better tomorrow.

I can inspire you.

How I can help you

As a keynote wellbeing speaker, I bring an external voice with stories the audience relates to. In my interactive sessions, I spark conversations with the audience, leading them to have dialogues with each other too.

Through storytelling, I aim to disrupt, challenge assumptions, and inspire change.

These are my main outcomes:

Trust: I challenge people to continuously do the inner work, building trust in themselves and those around them.

Engagement: I excite audiences about the journey they’ve been on and the journey yet to come.

Inspiration: I show people what’s possible. Sparking curiosity and personal growth by balancing technical and human skills.

Empowerment: I encourage people to be proactive, experimenting to shift mindset, habits and behaviours.

Performance: I facilitate individual reflection, creating the foundations for collaboration and high performance.

Human skills training and workshops

Human skills allow us to better understand ourselves and others, building connection.

Skills like self-awareness, communication, empathy, adaptability, and resilience require EQ. Yet, this is often overlooked, in favour of IQ, rational thinking, and technical skills.

Wrongly so. Studies show that organisations with high levels of EQ are more empowered, risk-tolerant, engaged, and productive.

If you want your teams to develop their EQ, choose Stories Matter. You can extend the 1-hour talks listed above, or choose from 3-hour training sessions or workshops in one or more specific human skills.

How I work

We begin with a discovery call to assess if we’re a good fit. I want you and your teams to achieve your outcomes, so you need the right wellbeing speaker. If that’s not me, I have many trusted speakers and thought leaders in my network.

In the discovery call we’ll get to know each other, understand your organisational context and get clear on what success looks like.

Wellbeing keynotes and human skills workshops are priced on a bespoke basis, depending on your desired outcomes and measures of success.

Even more powerful, two of these comments came from men – a group that statistically struggles to talk about mind health. If your organisation is looking to start these important conversations, I highly recommend Nick.”
